Ayesha To Star As Ganesh Saravanan’s Wife In Upcoming Thriller

Ganesh Saravanan is making his debut as the lead in an untitled emotional comedy thriller. The story is about two former lovers now married to different people, who accidentally reconnect and decide to meet in Chennai.

However, they get locked in a room, and if they open the door, they’ll be in trouble as their partners, family, and friends are outside. The movie will focus on how they handle this situation, explains first-time director Jafar.

Ayesha will play Ganesh’s wife in the film. Jafar shares, “Ganesh and I are friends, so I had pitched a few scripts to him. We thought a comedy genre would be great for his debut, and this story stood out. His character is a 90s boy-next-door who’s scared of his wife, similar to the roles Manikandan is doing now”.

Filming will begin by the end of the month. Jafar adds, “I’ve been trying to direct for eight years. Having worked in media and interviewed many artists, I’ve learned a lot from them, and now I’m putting those experiences into making this film”.
