War 2 directed by Ayan Mukerji and produced by Aditya Chopra under Yash Raj Films is all set to release on August 14, 2025.
The action thriller brings together two of India’s biggest stars Hrithik Roshan and NTR in a powerful face-off that has fans eagerly waiting.
Director Ayan Mukerji shared that the most challenging part was creating a strong story that could justify the clash between these two stars.
He said the film is not just a sequel but a fresh chapter that takes the franchise in a bold new direction while respecting the original.
“We didn’t want to repeat what worked before,” Ayan said. “From action to emotions, we raised the stakes to give fans something bigger and better”.
He described War 2 as a grand celebration of Indian cinema and promised an exciting theatrical experience, saying the team has given their best to meet the huge expectations from fans.
