Ayan Mukerji Opens Up On War 2, Praises Cast And Powerful Story

The teaser for War 2 was released recently and received a very positive response from fans on social media. The film starring Hrithik Roshan, Kiara Advani and NTR is set to release in theatres on August 14th, 2025.

Director Ayan Mukerji shared his thoughts on Instagram for the first time about working on War 2. He posted a heartfelt note and some unseen pictures with the cast.

Ayan called this an exciting time and said it felt right to speak now, just 12 weeks before the film’s release.

He shared that what excites him most about War 2 is its strong and emotional story, which surprised him when he first read the script. Ayan praised the entire team and especially appreciated Kiara Advani, calling her the “sunshine” of the film.

He also thanked Aditya Chopra, Hrithik, and NTR saying they were the key forces behind this ambitious project.
