Awe film has become popular for being innovative and intelligent. The movie did not win big awards but it did become a favorite film for many in Telugu youth. They wanted such innovative film to be made in Telugu and they got their wish. Now, director Prashanth Varma, who made the film is coming with Zombie Reddy, a complete desi Zombie film. The director announced title of the film, on 8th August and the film could release on OTT platforms if theatres don’t open till December.
The director talking to a media outlet shared that they have completed the shoot of the film post lockdown with precautions. They have appointed a group of individuals to always check on the actors & crew members for their safety. Also, the film director revealed that it was supposed to be titled as Virus and then they planned to go for Corona Virus. But finally, they zeroed in on Zombie Reddy. The story of the film will be explained in the film teasers and trailers before hand, to prepare the audiences.
Prashanth Varma said that the movie will be different from regular films but it won’t be artsy like Awe or too massy like Kalki, it seems. He claimed to have written 32 stories when he had stay away from work during lockdown period.
