It is widely known that the Hollywood visual extravaganza, Avatar – The Way of Water had a simultaneous release in Telugu version as well on December 16th. We had already reported that James Cameron’s cinematic creation breached Rs 23.35 crore share during the first weekend itself and emerged as a solidly profitable venture for all parties involved in twin Telugu states. As per our sources, the pre-release business for Avatar 2 for the entire Andhra, Rayalaseema and Nizam is done for just Rs 5 crore. In most areas, the film was released on a rental basis. The break-even target for Avatar 2 for twin Telugu states is valued at Rs 5.25 crore. The film emerged as a blockbuster by the end of its first weekend. The 10-day collections of Avatar 2 indicate that the film is going to end up as the biggest blockbuster in Telugu. At the Indian box office, Avatar-The way of Water minted more than Rs 300 crore gross in ten days.
