Atul Kulkarni visited Pahalgam shortly after a terrorist attack expressing his support for Kashmir. In an interview he stated that the attack was meant to discourage visitors but emphasized that Indians will continue to travel to Kashmir, saying, “Kashmir is ours”.
He urged people not to cancel their trips to the region noting the importance of supporting the people of Kashmir.
Atul shared his sorrow over the tragic April 22 attack and reflected on how to take meaningful action. He mentioned that while many cancel trips after such incidents, it’s vital to support Kashmiriyat.
He revealed that 90% of bookings were canceled even during peak season and urged travelers to keep their plans and visit Kashmir.
Atul posted pictures on Insta showing empty flight seats and the beautiful Kashmir landscape, along with a message of unity using hashtags like #ChaloKashmir and #DefeatTerror to encourage people to visit and stand with Kashmir.
