In a recent interview, Atlee disclosed details about his much-discussed collaboration with Superstar Rajinikanth. Expressing his admiration for Rajini, Atlee credited Rajini’s classic, “Thalapathy,” as his inspiration for joining the film industry.

He expressed his desire to create something surpassing the iconic “Baasha” and aims to deliver a film that stands as the pinnacle of Rajini’s career, similar to how his films marked career peaks for actors like Arya and Vijay. Atlee mentioned Rajini affectionately calls him “Kanna” (dear) and is enthusiastic about collaborating under his direction.
