Athiya Shetty Trolled for “Not Looking Like a Newlywed”

Soon after her marriage to KL Rahul, Athiya Shetty receives criticism for not donning a sindoor and mangalsutra. Athiya Shetty was spotted last night out to dinner with her cricketer husband KL Rahul.

The Mubarakan actress looked super stylish in her casual attire and she decided against dressing up like every other bride after her wedding, as evidenced by her wedding photos. Athiya Shetty, however, received severe trolling for this and was accused of being overly westernised because she didn’t do anything after her marriage like nearly every Indian female does. Athiya was not dressing like a normal Indian bride after their marriage; instead, she wore an enormous patterned top with light blue denim trousers.

Another user said, “Lag he nahi rha h k freshly sadi huya hai,” that Athiya does not at all appear like a newlywed. Athiya was spotted at the salon shortly before she appeared in public with her husband KL Rahul. There, she received more trolling for her attitude. Suniel Shetty’s daughter was singled out by internet users for her attitude toward the paparazzi.

KL and Athiya Rahul wed on January 22 at Suniel Shetty’s farmhouse in Khandala, and they afterwards posed for photographers. After IPL, the couple might hold a grand wedding reception for their professional friends and family.
