Ashok Selvan has revealed that he faced major financial difficulties while producing his upcoming romantic drama Anbil Avan.
Speaking at the film pre-release event he said the budget went beyond his expectations for sure forcing him to mortgage his parents house. He thanked his parents for supporting his dream during the much difficult time.
The actor said he did not want to compromise on any important aspects of the film just to reduce costs.
After more than two long years without a lead theatrical release Selvan believes Anbil Avan is the right film for his comeback.
He said he wants to give 100 percent whenever his name is attached to a project. Written by Por Thozhil director Vignesh Raja while the film stars Ashok Selvan and Preity Mukundhan and releases this week.
