Arya Booked In Rs 1.80 Crore Cheating Case
Arya has landed in legal trouble after a cheating case was filed against him at the Jubilee Hills Police Station in Hyderabad.
A camera equipment rental company accused Arya, producer Vinod and the film’s production team of not paying their pending dues.
The company said it supplied expensive cameras, lighting equipment and other gear for the film Ananthan Kaadu and even transported everything from Hyderabad to Kerala at its own cost.
Out of the total bill of Rs 2.12 crore more than Rs 1.80 crore is still unpaid according to the complaint. The company claims the makers promised to clear the amount before the film’s release but failed to do so.
It also alleged that the manager was threatened when he asked for the payment. Police have registered a case and started an investigation.
