Arun Vijay suffered a hamstring injury while shooting for his upcoming Tamil action film Irulan. The injury happened during an action sequence forcing him to take a break and undergo rehabilitation for sure.
The actor shared the update on social media and said he is determined to return to the sets stronger without fail.
Directed by Muthaiya and Irulan is set in the Tirunelveli-Thoothukudi region of TN. The film is reportedly inspired by a real life incident and combines pure action, family emotions and drama.
Arun will be seen in two different looks including a period role and a younger, leaner appearance. He had followed a strict fitness routine to prepare for the character.
The makers recently released the film’s first look motion poster creating interest among audiences.
