Arjun Sarja, the action king of Southern Film Industry has been active as a lead actor until recently, he found out that he can no longer interest audience to theatres on his own. He had been once the sensational actor with hits like Gentleman, Oke Okkadu, Hanuman Junction and many other movies during late 80’s. He had a great collaboration with Kodi Ramakrishna making action dramas that made him popular across Tamil, Telugu and Kannada. He last appeared in a direct Telugu film in Rama Rama Krishna Krishna. After the movie even his dubbed films have stopped releasing in Telugu and even his Tamil direct films have become scarce. Slowly but surely, the actor seems to be taking the decision to become a character actor and that would be a welcome change. His skills to emote and do action are unparalleled and many young actors can learn from him by being in same scene.
The actor will be seen as a stylish baddie in Nithiin Hanu Raghavapudi film that will soon start rolling for a continuous schedule till the completion. Nithiin will be playing a character that he never tried and this story was first pitched to Akhil Akkineni for his second film but as they thought it is more suitable for an established actor than a young one, the story went to Nithiin. The film was announced long back and even muhurtham ceremony happened immediately, but 14 reels and Hanu wanted the casting to be right. So they took their time in fine tuning the script and convincing the actors on the strength of the script. Finally, Arjun agreed to be the baddie as he liked the story and characterisation. Megha Akash will be seen as the female lead. The film has started it’s first big schedule and the next schedule will start from February.
