Arjun Reddy featuring Vijay Deverakonda in the lead role went on to become a path-breaking hit at the box office. The film director Sandeep Reddy Vanga even remade in Bollywood as Kabir Singh with Shahid Kapoor and scored a blockbuster success.
Meanwhile, in a recent YouTube interview, Sandeep Reddy Vanga revealed that he had shot raw footage of 4 hours 20 minutes for the film and later trimmed down it to 3 hours 45 minutes. Sandeep also revealed that he had shortened the duration to 3 hours 6 minutes for the theatrical release. The film is going to celebrate its five years by August 25, 2022, and on this eve the director has opened up in the interview that he is going to re-release the untrimmed 3 hours 45 minutes duration of Arjun Reddy in the theatres.
The creative director also revealed that the untrimmed version will have scenes featuring Arjun Reddy’s childhood, his relationship with his bullet, his dog and a couple of fun and emotional scenes with his school friends.
