Released in 2017, Arjun Reddy became a cult blockbuster and had a major impact on Telugu cinema.
The film made Vijay a popular star and established Sandeep Reddy Vanga as one of India’s notable filmmakers. Vanga is currently directing Spirit with Prabhas and will later work on Animal Park with Ranbir Kapoor.
Vijay and Sandeep may not reunite for a film soon but they are planning a special celebration for Arjun Reddy’s 10th anniversary next year.
The film will reportedly be re-released with some additional footage. Pranay Reddy Vanga, Sandeep’s brother and co-producer of Spirit, confirmed the plans.
He also revealed that around 40 percent of Spirit has been completed with Prabhas already shooting for 40 days. The team is now focused on completing the film.
