In a recent Instagram video, actor Arjun Kapoor danced to the song Tere Pyaar Mein and referred to his former Half Girlfriend co-star Shraddha Kapoor as “jhoothi aur makkar.”
Arjun Kapoor took the stage next to jam out to the song Tere Pyaar Mein from the upcoming love film Tu Jhoothi Main Makkaar after Alia Bhatt. Shraddha Kapoor, the “OG Half Girlfriend,” who was his previous co-star in the film, was referred to as a “liar and a fraud” by the actor as he danced to the song. The song was then dedicated to his Instagram Reel-styled hair, which was his first love. Ranbir Kapoor is featured in the Luv Ranjan-directed movie as well.
Dancing and lip-syncing to the song with a hairbrush, Arjun wrote, “Itne saal baad pata chala ki meri OG #HalfGirlfriend, @shraddhakapoor jhoothi aur makkaar hai (After so many years, I found out that my OG Half Girlfriend Shraddha Kapoor is a liar and a fraud)! Actor Sunny Singh dropped a fire emoji and said, “Looking good.” A person corrected Arjun and shared, “Woh sirf Jhoothi hai Makkaar Ranbir hai (She is just a liar, Ranbir is a fraud).” Another fan commented, “The best version.” An Instagram user said they loved Arjun’s take on the song.
Arijit Singh and Nikhita Gandhi perform the song Tere Pyaar Mein, which was written by Pritam and includes lyrics by Amitabh Bhattacharya. In the past, Alia Bhatt provided her own interpretation of the song while exercising on a bike to support her husband Ranbir’s upcoming movie.
In addition to Ranbir and Shraddha, Anubhav Singh Bassi, Dimple Kapadia, and Arjun’s father, producer Boney Kapoor, who makes his acting debut, are all featured in Tu Jhoothi Main Makkaar. In 2020’s meta-thriller AK versus. AK, directed by Vikramaditya Motwane, he previously played himself.

After three years, Shraddha is making her big-screen comeback. She last appeared with Tiger Shroff in the 2020 Hindi thriller Baaghi 3. She and Ranbir are starring together in a movie for the first time.
