Arjun and his track record worrying fans

Arjun Sarja is an out and out action hero, and there’s no doubt about that. He has worked in several films in all the South Indian languages and is one of the most versatile actors in the South Indian Film Industry currently. He’s become the go-to for any key role and has been working relentlessly in all languages.

While Arjun managed to find good success in recent times in Kannada, Tamil and Malayalam, his track record in Telugu has not been so promising. He last appeared in Lie and Naa Peru Surya Na Illu India, and both of those films turned out to be disappointments at the box office. Even the audiences didn’t appreciate the film as well. Arjun is now coming up with Ravi Teja’s Khiladi, which is scheduled to release this year.

According to the latest reports, Arjun is the frontrunner to play the lead antagonist in Superstar Mahesh’s Babu upcoming film Sarkaru Vaari Paata. The makers have approached several actors previously, but nothing materialised. Considering Arjun’s recent track record in Telugu, Mahesh’s fans are not said to be happy with the makers’ decision. Previously, names like Upendra and Madhavan were heard predominantly, but nothing materialised. It is now to be seen if Arjun will finally be on board, or if anyone else will grab the opportunity.
