Ardha Shathabdham, an intense social drama starring Naveen Chandra, Krishna Priya and Care of Kancharapalem fame Karthik Rathnam has created curiosity among the audience with its first look teaser which was released earlier this year. Meanwhile, this afternoon, the film’s theatrical trailer was unveiled by Natural Star Nani.
Set in the 90s time period, the trailer primarily focuses on the caste discrimination deeply rooted in Indian society. What happens when a low caste guy ( role played by Karthik Rathnam) loves a girl of upper caste? How caste fanaticism affect the lives in rural areas? has been showcased in the promo.
Adding to it, elements like politics, Naxalism, police are incorporated in the 2 minutes 30 seconds video with a convincing premise with some hard-hitting dialogues on the social inequality in the society. Also, starring actors like Sai Kumar, Subhalekha Sudhakar, Raja Ravindra among others in key roles, the film’s digital rights are snapped by exclusive Telugu content provider Aha and is gearing up for a premiere on June 11th.
