In “Daraar,” Arbaaz Khan reveals why he chose to play a villain and claims that it was a crucial career move.

They all contributed significantly to the great heights the Indian cinema industry has attained, whether they are Salman Khan, Amir Khan, or Shah Rukh Khan. Arbaaz Khan, a performer who has been active for the past 20 years, is another talent who has gently helped this success throughout the year.
The 55-year-old actor has been in a number of motion pictures and even has a production company that bears his name. He has now thought back on his path to acting. Khan recalls his first ever job, when he played a bad character in the film “Daraar.”
Arbaaz Khan thinks back on the numerous influences that led him to decide on the negative character. Khan could not let it go, whether it was about opportunities or his brother Salman Khan already becoming famous. According to reports, he stated in an interview from earlier this year that “the prospects were quite limited and there were only a handful of directors that an actor would have wanted to work with at the time. After all, I too had obligations, my father had a fantastic body of work, and my brother (Salman Khan) was already a well-known actor. Therefore, I felt it was crucial that I make the move.
Arbaaz Khan experienced a sense of urgency as it became later in the day. He says, “In showbiz, you expect your break at the age of 21 or 22, but once you’re in your mid-20s and haven’t started working, there’s pressure on you to work, earn, and deliver.”
“So, I thought the film was good, and the dark undertone of my character did not matter to me,” he continued. Khan’s focus was obviously on seizing the moment and not letting anything slip by. Khan added that he only began receiving offers for negative roles after he received the Best Actor Award for Negative Role.
