Last night, AR Rahman and his wife Saira Bhanu announced the end of their relationship. The news quickly spread on social media, but Rahman’s way of announcing it on Twitter caught everyone’s attention.
He shared the news with an emotional message and even created a unique hashtag, “#arrsairaabreakup,” which surprised many.
Rahman tweeted, “We hoped to reach 30 years, but everything seems to have an unseen end. Even the throne of God might tremble under the weight of broken hearts.
In this pain, we search for meaning, though the pieces may never fit again. Thank you to our friends for your kindness and for respecting our privacy during this fragile time”.
Rahman and Saira were married in 1995 through an arranged marriage and have three children.
