Aparshakti Khurana remembered the worst piece of career-related advice he ever received from a director.

Aparshakti Khurana, a Bollywood actor, TV host, former cricketer, and radio personality, recalls the worst career advice he had received from a director.

He claimed that the director advised him to avoid being so approachable by everyone. Aparshakti claimed that this advice really shocked him because he had always believed that modesty was a strength of character.

He shared: “I went to a very famous, very cool, and relevant director to discuss the way to grow in my career and get good work. Touchwood, now I am getting films in the lead or parallel lead, which I can call my films or my shows. But back then this wasn’t the case. So, one evening I thought, now that we are having some coffee let’s discuss this also and this guy tells me, ‘Apar you know what the problem is? I think you’re very approachable.’ And I said, ‘I think that generally people compliment me for this and you’re asking me to cut down on this then it is very difficult

Aparshakti, who is well-known for roles in films like “Badrinath Ki Dulhania,” “Stree,” and “Luka Chupi,” among others, revealed that the director’s counsel to him had shocked and hurt him. He believes that being nice is the most important characteristic and that it is always simple to treat people badly. He was taken aback when he was told to turn around and forsake his grounded and humble character.
