It is well-known that the ticket prices issue in the state of Andhra Pradesh has become a major topic of discussion among the Telugu film industry bigwigs for the past few months. Just before the release of Pawan Kalyan’s Vakeel Saab, the AP government led by YS Jagan Reddy has kept a check on the ticket prices based on the localities.

A couple of months back at the pre-release event of Sai Dharam Tej’s Republic, Pawan Kalyan bursted out at YS Jagan and his cabinet ministers for created hurdles to the film industry. Soon after Pawan’s strong comments, a group of industry people under the supervision of producer Dil Raju met the AP cinematography minister Perni Nani and tried to cool him.

Meanwhile, the latest news is that the trials of industry bigwigs are going to have a fruitful result. As per our sources, the AP government is planning to hike the ticket prices from December. If the news turns into reality in the next few weeks, this comes as a major relief for the Tollywood filmmakers.
