AP government being criticised ahead of Bheemla Nayak’s release

The Andhra Pradesh government posed the Telugu Film Industry with the biggest hurdle ever, when it announced that the theatre ticket prices are being slashed down by a lot, in the state. The government said that the ticket prices would be fixed by the government and that the tickets would have to be booked online via an online platform run by the government itself.

Recently, a delegation from Tollywood, including Chiranjeevi, Mahesh Babu, Prabhas, Rajamouli, Koratala Siva and others, met with Chief Minsiter Jagan Mohan Reddy and spoke about resolving the issue of tickets, to which the CM agreed. The GO regarding the same was also released recently, but ahead of the release of Pawan Kalyan’s Bheemla Nayak, the AP government is being heavily criticised.

The Ap government denied any permissions for any extra, benefit or special shows ahead of Bheemla Nayak’s release, also saying that anyone who goes against the AP government’s orders, or sells tickets at higher prices than fixed by the government, would face severe consequences. This has not sat well with film lovers and filmmakers alike, who are criticising the AP govenremtn. It is now to be seen what consequences this will result in.
