Nishabdam film has been in talks for OTT premiere from April. As soon as lockdown was announced, many expected this film to straight away go to OTT platforms for a release. But producers did not want to jump the gun, so soon. They even denied rumours and media reports about the discussions and meetings with OTT platforms. They said that they want the movie to be released in theatres. But as the game started changing with the increase in number of days India under complete lockdown, producers started having second thoughts.
Kona Venkat, one of the producers ran a poll on Social media about the public interest to watch the film in theatres or on OTT platforms. He got his answers. When “V” got the big deal, they started trying to find similar sort of deal. Well, finally they negotiated one satisfactory deal with an OTT platform, say sources. On October 17 or in October month, the movie will première on OTT platforms in multiple languages. Madhavan, Anjali are also part of this Hemanth Madhukar directorial.
