Anushka’s film to finally go on sets!

Anushka Shetty is often referred to as the Lady Superstar of Tollywood, thanks to her immense fanbase, and the ability to pull crowds to the theatres. Despite the star power though, the actress hasn’t had a release in over four years, with her last theatrical release being Bhaagamathie, in 2018. In 2020, her movie Nishabdham was released, but the film was directly released on OTT and turned out to be a disappointment.

It is already known that Anushka signed a film with UV Creations, to be directed by Mahesh, in which Naveen Polishetty would be seen sharing screen space with her. While the film was officially announced, there hasn’t been any information on the film after that. It is now being said that Anushka has finally given the nod and that the film would begin shooting on the 4th of this month.

Anushka’s look in the film is said to be unique, and the makers said that the look would be released shortly. Apart from that, there have been reports that Anushka is being considered as the leading lady for Prabhas’s film with Maruthi.
