Anushka Weight gain and loss!

Anushka Shetty has been disappointing her fans recently, due to her overweight looks after the Size Zero film. The film did not become successful but left her with weight problems. She gained too much of weight for the role and to reduce in time for her other commitments has become a tough task. As Rajamouli for Bahubali had already shot several scenes with Anushka during the first film shoot, the fight sequences featuring her and songs had to be given for a digital remastering to bring her shape to match her earlier looks.

While, the big budget film could afford time and money, Singam 3 and Om Namo Venkatesaya suffered much with her looks as well. The promotional strategies that the makers wanted to approach had to be thrown on back burner with her too heavy looks. The special song in Om Namo Venkatesaya, for Anushka was planned to get some more audience to the movie with such a beautiful picturisation but it became a low point for the movie in the end. The actual reason behind her weight gain, loss and again gain was that she sustained an injury on sets of Singam 3.

Due to the injury, while she was on a diet to reduce her weight, the course was changed and she had to take complete bed rest for weeks it seems. As she could not afford to go for heavy workouts and maintain a proper diet her weight even increased and that’s the major reason for her overweight looks. The sources close to her say, she will look much leaner in her film Baghmati and the team will soon release a teaser. She is also continuing to hit the gym with heavy workouts and diet it seems.
