Anushka Shetty has been taking her own time to select her next film and the actress seems to be happy with the way her career has shaped up till now. Many news sources have informed about her different projects but none of them came out to be true. Now, we have a producer announcing that he will be trying to hire for Puratchi Thalavi Amma Jayalalitha role for her biopic.
Aditya Bhardwaj, the producer of Jayalalitha biopic said, “We wanted to give a big tribute to lady icon, Jayalalitha for all the heights she achieved coming from a lower middle class family. She established herself as a great actress and also became a huge political leader who could significantly determine the future of a country with her support. So, we wanted to make a movie that reflects her struggles and strength.
“Bharathiraja, the legendary director got emotionally connected to her story and hence, we hired him as the director and Ilayaraja will compose songs for the movie. Their combination has been a huge successful one and we hope they create magic again. Anushka and Aishwarya Rai are our choices for Amma role and we have even titled the movie as Amma, on insistence of Bharathi Raja,” concluded the producer. Well, Keerthy Suresh became Savitri for Mahanati and if Anushka agrees, she could become Amma for entire South Indian Cinema lovers.
