Lady Superstar of Tollywood, Anushka Shetty, hasn’t been very active in the last few years, with her film Nishabdham releasing way back in 2020. Even that film didn’t impress the audience, who have since been waiting for the successful return of Anushka to films. It is already known that Anushka has signed just one film in all this time, which would be produced by UV Creations, in which she will be seen alongside Naveen Polishetty.
The shooting of the film was supposed to have started some time ago, but that hasn’t happened yet, due to various reasons, including the pandemic and the actress’s weight issues, according to sources. It is now being said that Anushka might sing another project, for director Singeetham Srinivasa Rao, who would be making his comeback to direction after a very long gap.
The director is said to be keen on making his dream project, Bangalore Nagarathnamma, for which Anushka has been approached. The actress is said to have listened to the script but is yet to take a decision on the same. It is now to be seen whether she will sign the project or not.
