Anushka Shetty to don four looks in Om Namo Venkatesaya!

Om Namo Venkatesaya the devotional film directed by K Raghavendra Rao returning to the genre after 2013, Shirdi Sai and making the subject about the devotee of Lord Venkateswara after Annamayya in 1997. Nearly, after 20 years of the release of the movie the four crusaders of contemporary devotional movies in Telugu Film Industry, Nagarjuna – MM Keeravani – JK Bharavi and K Raghavendra Rao are uniting to bring the life of Hathiram Baba to life on screen. The team has worked in two other films in Sri Ramadasu and Shirdi Sai (barring JK Bharavi who did not write for Shirdi Sai), to a box office success but the true historical success of Annamayya was hard to reprise and the team hopes to do it this time with this movie. The movie has been constantly in news with continuous progress of the film and the release of first looks of the various actors.

In this movie, Anushka Shetty is playing the role of a devotee Krishnamma who is a great dancer and dedicates her life seeking divine knowledge in the embrace of Lord Venkateswara. She will be fighting resistance from King played by Jagapathi Babu. She has total four get ups in the movie and for Godha Devi getup a special 25 meters long saree was specially stitched to highlight her dancer attire. Before this, Pragya Jaiswal golden lehenga also became a news with its weight. Looks like the director is not leaving any detail unattended and wants to make the movie a Marvel for fans and devotees. Sourabh Jain, Vimala Raman, Brahmanandam, Sarath Babu are playing other important characters in the movie.
