Anushka remains the go-to for powerful roles

Anushka Shetty is the leading actress in the Telugu film industry, despite not doing as many films as she used to, previously. Her last release was Nishabdham, which got a direct OTT release. There were good expectations on the film, but upon release, the film turned out to be a disappointment, receiving a bad talk with critics and audiences alike.

Anushka currently signed one film in Telugu, the one with Naveen Polishetty. Apart from that, the actress is focusing on herself, trying to reduce her weight, in the USA. According to the latest reports, Anushka is yet to sign another film, where she is reportedly going to be seen as a mother of twins. Sources say that the film will focus on the difficulties that a woman faces after he husband passes away and she has to raise four twins.

A Tamil director is said to be directing this film, and official confirmation of the same is still awaited. While these reports are doing the rounds on social media, there’s no clarity over their truth. On the other hand, Anushka’s film with Naveen Polishetty is going to be directed by Mahesh P and produced under the UV Creations banner.
