Anushka is ready to meet Telugu audience as Bhaagamathie in her new film. The movie is gearing up to release on Republic Day. It is interesting to see that two huge lady oriented stories, Padmaavat and Bhaagamathie releasing for the same holiday, this January. The actress is busy promoting the film and she shared some interesting insights about her role and next films.
She said, ” I am more thankful to Arundhati and Super in my career. Super gave me the platform as an actress but Arundhati gave me the popularity. If I did not do a movie like Arundhati, I would have been still struggling to find good opportunities but that movie gave me a nice platform to try woman-oriented stories as well.”
She further said, “I personally love to act in romantic films but unfortunately I did not get many opportunities to act in them. Bhaagamathie is a different film for me as I did not do a complete thriller film all these years. Arundhati is more characters driven ghost movie but this is thriller with few supernatural and psychological elements added to it. I enjoyed this experience too.” She told that she is still in dilemma what films, she should accept next but she cleared that she would love to do more variety roles than she did all these years.
