Anurag Kashyap named his film Kennedy after Chiyaan Vikram’s nickname, and the actor is being trolled on Twitter for his lack of response.
Kennedy, Anurag Kashyap’s upcoming film, has been making news ever since he premiered it at Cannes. Fans are extremely eager to see a typical AK film very soon because the film’s trailer also looked promising and featured a noir-style of cinema. Even his film has been generating great word, which is good.
Kashyap made a shocking revelation when discussing his movie in Cannes that led to the discovery of the title of the movie. Why is Kennedy given that name? Since he had the “superstar” in mind while writing the script and he contacted him once the script was finished, the filmmaker admitted that the movie’s title is derived from the nickname of the star.
Chiyaan Vikram, who plays Chiyaan in Ponniyin Selvan, was there. Yes! Anurag Kashyap gave his film the same name and issued an offer to Chiyaan, who did not accept it. The actor goes by the moniker Kennedy. Anurag Kashyap described the story while speaking to Film Companion, saying, “I actually had a specific performer in mind when I wrote this film. Kennedy is the name of the movie because of this. because Kennedy is the stage name for that actor. The Kennedy Project was the title of the movie. Chiyaan Vikram is who it is. Kennedy is Chiyaan Vikram’s true name. I made contact with him. He did not answer.
The Manmarziyaan director furthered the story of the movie’s casting by saying, “So then, I contacted Rahul. I advised reading it. He reacted and responded with enthusiasm. rather than as an actor. “Yeh Kaun kar raha hai” (Who is playing this role), he exclaimed. ‘Karega (Will you do it)?’ I commanded. ‘Me?’ he asked. Yes, but you’ll have to give it your all, I replied. And he was scheduled to work on some flicks. He gave Kennedy eight months of his life.
Chiyaan Vikram was called out for it on Twitter when it learned of his actions, apparently! Why Vikram? asked one user. You may be in Cannes right now if this had been your biggest comeback.
