Anupama Parameswaran has spoken against paid negative reviews and personal attacks on social media.
She said that while honest criticism helps films improve, deliberately spreading negativity is different. She questioned why she should respond to people who allegedly post negative reviews for money.
Anupama clearly clarified that not replying to every social media comment does not make her arrogant.
She prefers to respond to posts she likes rather than answer every criticism for sure. She also said celebrities often face criticism whether they ignore comments or reply to them.
Her remarks come amid online discussions about her past relationship. Anupama will next appear in the Telugu film Bhogi.
