Anupama did not quit Karthikeya-2

Karthikeya became a huge success for Nikhil, Chandoo Mondeti and they announced a possible sequel to the film soon after the release. Chandoo went on to make Premam remake and Savyasachi with Naga Chaitanya. Now, he is ready with full bound script for Karthikeya sequel and he announced the film with some of the artwork from important sequences. Abhishek Pictures will produce the film.

The cast details were announced few days ago and Anupama Parameshwaran was said to be part of the cast. Recently several rumours came out that Anupama has quit the film due to her character being too weak in comparision with hero. Chandoo dismissed these rumors and said that she is part of the film. He also said that she will join the shoot as soon as the movie shoot begins post lockdown.
