After making her acting debut with Vijay Sethupathi’s DSP, former Miss India Anukreethy Vas took a break to improve her acting skills.
She is now set to play the lead in Bang Bang, alongside Prabhudeva and Vadivelu. She is also part of another film featuring Kavin, Sandy and Priyanka Mohan.
Anu says working with Prabhudeva is a dream come true for sure as she grew up admiring him. She was initially nervous about working with Vadivelu but found him very much warm and much more supportive.
She believes her break after DSP helped her become a better actor through workshops and theatre for sure.
Anukreethy also feels social media has changed the industry with followers now influencing casting decisions. She admits her early Telugu films taught her to be more careful while choosing roles.
