Anshuman Jha’s vigilante action thriller “Lakadbaggha” won a prize at the Indian Film Festival Stuttgart.
At the 20th Indian Film Festival Stuttgart 2023, the vigilante action thriller “Lakadbaggha,” starring Anshuman Jha and Ridhi Dogra, won the German Star of India “Director’s Vision” award.

The film “Lakadbaggha,” which Victor Mukherjee directed, is a love letter to dogs and tells the tale of an animal activist taking on a ruthless animal abuser. The underworld of illegal animal trade and the inhumane treatment of the voiceless creatures are both topics covered in the movie.
The movie received its international premiere at the HBO South Asian International Film Festival after having its world premiere at the Kolkata International Film Festival. The movie is still growing, and it recently received an honour in Stuttgart. In addition to its powerful plot and outstanding performers, the movie’s action is a hot topic.
The primary actor, Anshuman, studied in the martial art of “Krav Maga” with Tsahi Shemesh in New York, who previously trained the “Avengers” ensemble, while Kecha Kamphakdee of “Ong-Bak” renown handled the action in the movie.
