Tollywood is nothing new to projects being shelved. There have been several instances where small and big films, involving small and big stars, have been shelved in the past. In recent times also, projects that were officially launched failed to take off.
Now, yet another project seems to have been added to this list, with Megastar Chiranjeevi and director Maruthi’s film being reportedly shelved. Maruthi is said to have visited Chiranjeevi a couple of times, to give Chiru a narration. While the duo wanted to collaborate and finalise a script, things seem to have fallen off for now. The film was also expected to be co-produced by UV Creations and Geetha Arts.
Chiranjeevi is currently busy with God Father, the remake of the Malayalam film Lucifer, and will start shooting for Meher Ramesh’s Bhola Shankar after that. In the meantime, it is also being said that Chiru gave his nod for director Venky Kudumula’s film.
