Another sequel for Balayya and Boyapati

It is already known that director Boyapati Srinu has announced a sequel for his superhit film Akhanda with Balakrishna, which was released last year, and went on to become a massive success. It is now being said that the director-actor duo might be up for yet another sequel.

Before they can start working for Akhanda 2, sources have been saying that Boyapati and Balayya would reunite for a political film, ahead of the 2024 elections. This film would go on floors after the two are done with their current commitments. While it was initially expected that this would be a straight film, it is now being said that this would be a sequel. While which movie this would be a sequel to hasn’t been announced yet, it is expected that this film would be a sequel to Legend, as it was the duo’s first film with political undertones.

Boyapati is currently busy with Ram Pothineni’s film, and Balayya is working on Gopichand Malineni’s film, after which he has to complete Anil Ravipudi’s film. It is expected that he and Boyapati will come together in the second half of 2023.
