Young Rebel Star Prabhas is about to make his Bollywood debut with Om Raut’s Adipurush, in which he will be essaying the role of Lord Rama. Kriti Sanon will be playing Goddess Sita in this pan-Indian film, which is being made on a massive budget. The shooting of Adipurush was stalled midway due to the second wave of coronavirus, and the shooting is expected to be resumed once the lockdown in Telangana is relaxed furthermore.
According to the latest reports, there seems to be another Lord Rama and Sita in town, in the form of Superstar Mahesh Babu and Bollywood actress Kareena Kapoor. It is being said that Kareena Kapoor was paid a huge amount to appear as Sita in Madhu Mantena’s adaptation of The Ramayana and that Mahesh was signed on to play Lord Rama.
Neither Mahesh nor Kareena have commented on the issue, and various people have various versions of what the truth is. While some people are saying that there’s no truth to this information, some are saying that it is true. While it would definitely be interesting to see Mahesh essay the role of Lord Rama, given that Adipurush is already in the making, it is highly doubtful that this project will materialise.
