Another import from Mallu land!

Malayalam ladies and girls have been finding preference these days in Telugu and Tamil Cinema. The actresses coming from the Industry are trying to learn the language and also showcasing their talent as actors. So, many filmmakers are looking at Mallu land than Mumbai to find best possible actresses for their films. Recent one is Anju Kurian.

The actress is debuting in Telugu with Sumanth in his film director by Anil Kumar. Talking about how she got the role, she said, “The production house saw my photos and asked me to come for an audition. Post that we did a photoshoot and they invited me for opening pooja ceremony. All happened very quickly and I am having fun shooting for the movie. It is a very interesting role. She travels a lot, my character and there is a twist to it.”

About acting in Telugu, a language she doesn’t know, she said, ” Working in new languages gives my career a new dimension and more presence in different markets. I am learning Telugu and going to classes daily. I want to understand the words written and then, deliver my performance. Doing so, will help me showcase my skills without having to afraid about unknown language.”
