Annu Kapoor recently landed in controversy after he described Tamannaah Bhatia as “dudhiya badan” while praising her performance in the song Aaj Ki Raat from Stree 2.
His comment received very strong backlash with many criticizing his choice of hard words.
Responding to this issue Kapoor said he had no any wrong intention and only meant to appreciate Tamannaah’s dancing and screen presence.
He explained that he watched the song during his US tour after his team suggested it for a show and he was impressed by her performance.
He said the controversy happened mainly because of the Hindi words he used adding that if he had said “milky body” in English, the reaction may have been softer. He also said he is ready to apologize if Tamannaah felt hurt.
