Anirudh Ravichander is the top music director in Kollywood right now. His songs and music, whether dubbed or original, have a massive fan base in the Telugu states. He made a grand debut in Telugu with Powerstar Pawan Kalyan’s Agnyathavaasi in 2018, and there were massive expectations on the film. With the album of Agnyathavaasi being a major blockbuster, expectations on the film further increased. Upon release though, Agnyathavaasi turned out to be a major disaster, the biggest disaster in director Trivikram’s career so far.
Prior to the disastrous result of Agnyathavaasi, Anirudh was roped in by Trivikram, as the music director for NTR’s Aravinda Sametha Veera Raghava. However, following the failure of Agnyathavaasi, Trivikram replaced Anirudh with Thaman. According to the latest reports, director Koratala Siva is planning to rope in Anirudh for his upcoming film with NTR, which will be an immediate follow up to RRR.
Previously, it was thought that Koratala might bring back Devi Sri Prasad, or continue with Mani Sharma, but looks like Anirudh might be on board for NTR’s 3oth film. If this turns out to be true, then the expectations on the film will be huge. Looks like Anirudh is all set to regain the opportunity of working with NTR.
