Anil Ravipudi’s F3 to have Ravi Teja?

Director Anil Ravipudi was showered with praises when his film F2: Fun and Frustration scores big at the box office. His fame grew manifold with Mahesh Babu’s Sarileru Neekevvaru, which recently completed 50 days of theatrical run. The director took some time to chill and is now busy with the script work of his next film, which the sequel to F2. Tentatively titled F3, the director is hell bent on retaining Venkatesh and Varun Tej as part of the sequel. Their chemistry worked big time in F2, which was one of the reasons for the film’s success.

After the mammoth success of Sarileru Neekevvaru, Anil Ravipudi is said to have increased his remuneration to Rs 10 crore. Reportedly, this didn’t go well with producer Dil Raju. Also, the producer had suggested bringing Ravi Teja to play the lead role. But, Anil stood his ground and said that Venkatesh should play the lead role. So, the director and the producer are dives on opinions. Once Anil completes the script, the duo will come to a conclusion whether to retain Venkatesh and Varun Tej or to rope in Ravi Teja. An announcement is expected to be out soon.
