Dil Raju, the producer of the original Telugu film, has reportedly greenlit the remake, believing that the universal appeal of F2’s subject will captivate the Bollywood audience.
There are whispers in Bollywood circles that an official announcement regarding the remake is imminent. Dil Raju’s plan for the Hindi adaptation involves casting two leading Bollywood actors from different generations, adding intrigue to the project.
