Anil Ravipudi and Sreeleela’s Surprising Family Connection

In an unprecedented revelation, director Anil Ravipudi recently disclosed a secret that had remained concealed until now – his relationship with the star heroine, Sreeleela, goes beyond the conventional directorn heroine dynamic, as they share a familial connection. This revelation came to light during a recent interview, where the director, alongside the sensational starlet, unveiled this surprising connection.

It turns out that Anil Ravipudi’s hometown and Sreeleela’s mother, Dr. Swarna’s hometown, both trace back to the same village, Ponguluru, situated near Ongole. Despite the star heroine’s upbringing in Bangalore and the USA, she faithfully visited her ammamma’s house in Ponguluru every year.

It was on the set of the film “Bhagwant Kesari,” directed by Anil Ravipudi and featuring Sreeleela as Nandamuri Balakrishna’s daughter, that the director and the heroine delved into their respective hometowns and stumbled upon this unexpected family connection.

While on set, Sreeleela addresses Anil Ravipudi as ‘director gaaru’ in front of the crew, but among their close circle, she affectionately calls him ‘maama’ – a term that reflects their familial ties, as Sreeleela’s mother happens to be a cousin sister of Anil Ravipudi. This newfound revelation adds an intriguing layer to their professional relationship, intertwining it with a shared family history.
