Anil Kapoor does not particularly enjoy it when someone imitates him, according to Varun Dhawan, who has admitted to borrowing ideas from him.
Anil Kapoor, Varun Dhawan’s co-star in “Jug Jugg Jeeyo,” served as a “strong” point of comparison for his upcoming film “Bawaal,” which the Bollywood actor is preparing for release.
In an interview, Varun discussed the requirements for working on a challenging issue. He said: “I did not find it emotionally that challenging for me; it was simply getting into the skin of the character at the beginning. Ajju was so far apart from me that it wasn’t like any of me would get mixed in it, just spotting him at first and watching how he would walk or talk.
“I knew the character was very away but once the way he talks , the first time when I was rehearsing with Nitesh, I was saying the lines he said the same thing but saying the lines slower but when I got the rhythm of how to talk … everything got easy
Varun said that while it was great to act out the parts in which he fought and quarrelled with Janhvi Kapoor’s character, when it came to acting with emotion, director Nitesh Tiwari would step in.
“I genuinely think it’s great to show up somewhere and say, ‘I did this and did that,’ but working with someone so talented makes the work easy.”
“I have one very strong reference for my character,” he continued. Although Mr. Anil Kapoor dislikes imitation, there is a side of his nature that I find endearing and endearing, having just worked with him. which I informed sir I would employ, to which he responded, “You are doing this like Anil sir, don’t.”do this
