Ananya Panday Reveals She Signed Liger On Her Father’s Advice

During the filming of “Liger” there was a lot of buzz and interest and many believed it would be the next big hit.

Vijay imagined the film would take his career to the next level and Ananya Panday worked hard to build a Telugu fan base.

However, Puri‘s Liger, a sports drama with a weak script, failed badly at the box office. This left both Vijay and Ananya feeling embarrassed as they had trusted Puri completely.

The movie faced heavy trolling, and Vijay is still dealing with its impact. In a recent interview, Ananya, who has since been praised for her Hindi projects, revealed that she did Liger based on her father Chunky Panday’s suggestion.

She admitted she regrets the decision and won’t rely on her father’s script advice again.
