Over the weekend, the Telugu film industry saw the release of several highly anticipated films, including “Spy” starring Nikhil Siddhartha and “Samajavaragamana” featuring Sree Vishnu. Among them, “Spy” had garnered significant attention and enjoyed a remarkable opening day, showcasing the rising popularity of Nikhil Siddhartha.

However, the film faced a setback as it received harsh criticism, both from critics and the audience. Despite a promising start at the box office in both Telugu states and the United States, “Spy” experienced a noticeable decline in collections on the second day and was unable to recover from that point onward.

As the extended weekend came to a close, “Spy” ended up being deemed a commercial failure. In contrast, the journey for “Samajavaragamana” took a different turn. The film had more modest expectations, evident in its relatively lower opening day box office numbers. However, “Samajavaragamana” managed to win over audiences with its engaging content and commendable performances.

The film garnered positive reviews and benefited significantly from strong word-of-mouth publicity. Consequently, collections witnessed a steady improvement on the second and third days, eventually resulting in packed theaters on Sunday, the fourth day. Overall, while “Spy” faced disappointment despite the initial hype, “Samajavaragamana” emerged as a success story, underscoring the fact that a well-crafted film with positive word-of-mouth can overcome a sluggish start and achieve success at the box office.
