Nandamuri Balakrishna and Krishna Vamsi are uniting for the first time. The subject narrated by Krishna Vamsi for 100th film of NBK impressed him so much and he wanted to be a part of it. But a subject featuring first Telugu Emperor and the person who started the celebration of Telugu new year in a grand way, the person who is more important to be remembered in today’s sorry state of affairs, especially, lack of respect to women. Gautamiputra Satakarni, the man who adopted his mother’s name as his identity, is the most exemplary of the rulers and the necessity of the message through his story took the 100th film cake from Raithu.
But now as 101st film of NBK, Raithu, the subject dealing with many problems of farmers these days. The film wants to highlight the importance of farmers in today’s fast growing population and yo culture. The script for the movie us ready and the film is expected to go on floors from this December. Apparently, most of the shoot for Gautamiputra Satakarni has been completed and a few portions remaining will be canned by the end of November.The interesting scoop is that, NBK and Krishna Vamsi went to meet Amitabh Bachchan while he was busy shooting with Ram Gopal Verma ‘s Sarkar 3.
They spent time with the legend for more than an hour or so it seems. The meeting was apparently, for an important character in the film that requires someone huge and special like Amitabh Bachchan. The buzz is quite strong regarding this, as NBK wouldn’t have gone to meet the legend just to meet him. He never tried to do that and this meeting with the legend that too along with the director, proves that they are trying to rope in the man for their film. Well, if the news is to be believed then it has to be seen, if Amitabh Bachchan will agree to be a part of the film, and if he accepts then it would be his telugu film after Manam.
