Amit Sadh’s next film Ghuspaith between Borders is a real life story?

Amit Sadh is getting ready to shoot “Ghuspaith: Between Borders,” a movie that takes Danish Siddiqui, a journalist, as its inspiration.

Amit Sadh, an actor well known for his roles in “Kai Po Che!,” “Breathe,” “Sultan,” “Super 30,” and “Gold,” has stated that he wants to recognise the commitment of Indian journalists with his film “Ghuspaith: Between Borders.”

The video, which was directed by Mihir Kalpana Lath, is a tribute to Pulitzer Prize–winning journalist Danish Siddiqui. The voyage of Danish and his comrades to cross borders, where they come across bandits and witness a horrible massacre, served as the basis for the movie. After escaping, they encounter additional peril, and Danish eventually gives his life.

As they approach the Indian border, a gunshot is heard, leaving the spectator wondering who the gunman is. This suspenseful cinematic experience pays tribute to Siddiqui’s legacy.

Talking about why he chose to do this project, Amit Sadh shared: “I did this film solely for the love of the craft and to support a young and budding director. I also liked his passion and the way he was prepared for the initial meet. I was simultaneously shooting for another project, schedules kept on changing and it led to me saying no twice to the film, but the love for the art pulled me. Mihir was very diligent about doing the film with me and I felt responsible

The actor continued, “We make short films for the love of the art and the people, not for the money. I did this in support of the script and Mihir, who made a solid movie. I’m hoping this will serve as a strong showreel for him. For providing everyone with a stage similar to a film festival that serves as a support network for independent filmmakers, JioCinema has my appreciation. JioCinema deserves praise for getting this done.

The actor said that this movie demonstrates journalists’ tenacity and sacrifices as they risk their lives to provide news, which is essential to democracy.

Amit Sadh continued, “Playing a photojournalist increases my respect for the industry and its influence on society. I hope people appreciate the movie and receive a fresh understanding of how important journalists’ work is.
