It is already reported that Nandamuri Kalyan Ram’s new film, Amigos is releasing on February 10th. It is widely known that Kalyan Ram is playing a triple role in the movie. As the film’s release date is nearing, the team unveiled the film’s theatrical trailer this evening at a special event in Kurnool.
The little more than two minutes promotional video opens with a scene where one of the characters (Kalyan Ram ) is showcased as a nightmare to the Indian National Security ( NIA). Later, the scene shifts to the introduction of two other look-alikes( Kalyan Ram characters). What is the similarity between the three doppelgangers? What happens when the three of them come face to face? Are they friends? Siblings? Or just look alike guys, expected to be the main crux of the film. While one of the characters is showcased as a ruthless evil, the other two are showcased on a soft note. Overall, Amigos promo is stylish and hints at solid content. Kalyan Ram’s makeover and heavy-duty action sequences are major highlights of the trailer. As the trailer looks promising, will Kalyan Ram score yet another hit after the last year’s blockbuster Bimbisara with Amigos? Remains to be seen.
Written and directed by Rajendra Reddy, Amigos has Kannada beauty Ashika Ranganath as the female lead. Bankrolled by Mythri Movie Makers, Amigos has its music by Ghibran. S Sundar Rajan is the cinematographer for the movie.
